Tornio Lathe

I believe that the lathe is the heaviest thing I've ever moved. Although it only took two of us to load and unload it took a total of 6 guys to get it down into the basement. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of that endeavor.

You can tell my wife took these pictures because she always takes pictures of my fat side. The strong guy is Windsor, without whom the lathe would probably never have gotten where it is!
When I bought the engine hoist, I had no idea just how handy it would be!

Here's the lath in the basement before I took it apart.
It does metric and english threading.

Here's the beginning of my metal collection.
In the background you can see my very large buffer and my S4 engine block.
